The walls are painted and organized according to house. We could not have done the work without a wonderful group of volunteers, including the previous mayer, who stepped up to help. This first step in getting all of the walls required for each house bought, built and painted is a big one and would add so much time to getting the homes built if we did not have the help of local people who are so invested in their community. We love seeing return volunteers as well as meeting new people each year. The whole process requires quite a bit of room and we appreciate the offer of a local school gym to allow us to spread out and get the job done!
